LightHouse Legal

Terms of
Service.

These terms govern access to the LightHouse website, weekly research, subscription service, archives, and related materials.

Effective Date: August 29, 2026

1. Agreement to these terms

By accessing or using LightHouse, you agree to these Terms of Service and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service. “LightHouse,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to the operator of LightHouse.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding agreement to purchase a subscription. You are responsible for complying with laws that apply where you live.

The service is offered only to residents of the United States. We do not knowingly offer subscriptions to individuals located outside the United States, and we may decline, cancel, or refund a subscription if we determine it was purchased from outside the United States.

3. Research and education only

LightHouse is research and education. It is not financial, investment, legal, or tax advice.

LightHouse provides a general market framework, model outputs, commentary, and educational materials. Content is not personalized to your objectives, financial condition, risk tolerance, or circumstances. Nothing in the service creates an adviser-client, fiduciary, brokerage, or other professional relationship.

Market information may be delayed, incomplete, or inaccurate. Model outputs reflect a research process and may change as facts and conditions change. Past model output does not predict future results. All investing involves risk, including possible loss of principal. You are responsible for your own research and decisions and should consult appropriately licensed professionals when needed.

4. Plans, pricing, and billing

Plans and pricing. LightHouse offers a monthly subscription ($19.99 per month) and an annual subscription ($199.99 per year). Current pricing, billing frequency, applicable taxes, and any promotional terms are always presented at checkout before you subscribe.

Introductory pricing. We may offer introductory rates to new subscribers for a limited period. An introductory rate applies only for the period stated at checkout. When it ends, your subscription automatically continues at the standard rate disclosed at checkout ($19.99 per month or $199.99 per year) unless you cancel before the renewal date.

Automatic renewal. Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period, monthly or annually depending on your plan, and you authorize the disclosed payment provider to charge the payment method on file at each renewal, until you cancel. For annual subscriptions, we will email you a renewal reminder 15 to 45 days before each renewal.

Cancellation. You can cancel at any time online through your account, or using the link in any billing email. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period, and you keep access until then. Monthly fees are generally nonrefundable once a billing period begins; the annual plan includes a refund window as described in the Cancellation and Refund Policy, which governs the full details.

Price changes. We may change standard pricing prospectively. We will notify you by email at least 30 days before a price change takes effect, and the change applies no earlier than your next renewal. The notice will explain how to cancel if you don't want to continue at the new price. The scheduled end of an introductory rate, as disclosed at checkout, is not a price change.

If a payment fails, access may be limited or suspended until payment is completed.

5. Accounts and delivery

You must provide accurate account and contact information and keep it current. You are responsible for activity under your account and for protecting any access link, password, or credential associated with it.

Weekly delivery depends on a valid email address, successful payment, and the operation of third-party email and hosting services. You should allow messages from LightHouse and check spam or filtering settings if a report does not arrive.

6. Ownership and permitted use

The LightHouse name, branding, reports, writing, graphics, model framework, presentation, archives, and other original materials are owned by LightHouse or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws.

A paid subscription gives you a limited, personal, nonexclusive, nontransferable, revocable right to access and use the materials for your own noncommercial purposes. It does not transfer ownership of any content or methodology.

7. Prohibited conduct

You may not:

8. Third-party services and links

LightHouse may rely on or link to third-party services, including payment, email delivery, hosting, market data, and external research sources. Those services are governed by their own terms and privacy practices. We do not control and are not responsible for third-party services.

9. Availability and changes

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features, coverage, publication timing, or parts of the service. We may correct errors and update content at any time. We do not guarantee that the service will always be available, uninterrupted, or error-free.

10. Disclaimer of warranties

To the fullest extent permitted by law, LightHouse is provided “as is” and “as available.” We disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and noninfringement. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain disclaimers, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, LightHouse and its owners, contributors, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, trading losses, or investment losses arising from or related to the service.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, total liability for claims relating to the service will not exceed the amount you paid to LightHouse during the six months before the event giving rise to the claim. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

12. Suspension and termination

You may stop using LightHouse at any time and may cancel a paid subscription under the Cancellation and Refund Policy. We may suspend or terminate access for nonpayment, misuse, unlawful conduct, a material breach of these terms, or a threat to the service or others.

Sections concerning ownership, disclaimers, liability, and dispute terms survive termination to the extent their nature requires.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Except as provided in the Arbitration and Class Action Waiver section below, any dispute not resolved informally will be brought in a court with appropriate jurisdiction in North Carolina, except where applicable law provides otherwise.

14. Arbitration and class action waiver

Please read this section carefully. It affects your legal rights, including your right to file a lawsuit in court.

Agreement to arbitrate. You and LightHouse agree to resolve any dispute arising out of or relating to these terms or the service through binding, individual arbitration rather than in court, except as stated below. This includes disputes about the existence, scope, or validity of this arbitration agreement.

Exceptions. Either party may bring an individual claim in small claims court instead of arbitration, if the claim qualifies. Either party may also seek injunctive relief in court to prevent unauthorized use or infringement of intellectual property while arbitration is pending.

Class action waiver. You and LightHouse agree that any arbitration or court proceeding will be conducted only on an individual basis, not as a class, collective, or representative action. The arbitrator may not consolidate more than one person's claims and may not otherwise preside over any form of a class or representative proceeding.

How arbitration works. Arbitration will be administered by a recognized consumer arbitration provider under its consumer arbitration rules, and will take place in North Carolina or another mutually agreed location, or by phone or video conference where the rules permit. Each party is responsible for its own attorney's fees unless the arbitrator awards fees as provided by applicable law.

Opting out. You may opt out of this arbitration agreement by emailing support@lighthousehub.app within 30 days of first accepting these terms, stating that you wish to opt out of arbitration. If you opt out, disputes will be resolved under the Governing Law section above instead.

Severability. If the class action waiver in this section is found unenforceable as to a particular claim or request for relief, that claim or request must be brought in court, and the remainder of this arbitration agreement still applies.

15. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the service or legal requirements change. The revised page will identify its effective date. If we make material changes, we will notify subscribers by email at least 15 days before the changes take effect. Continued use after an effective update means you accept the revised terms to the extent permitted by law.
